1. Our role
LessonAhead is a marketplace and toolkit. Driving tuition is provided by independent DVSA-approved instructors and schools, not by us. We take no commission from lesson income; instructors pay a subscription for platform access.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate information and keep your login secure.
- Instructors must hold a valid ADI or PDI badge and appropriate insurance, and must keep verification documents current.
- We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or present a safety risk.
3. Bookings, payments and cancellations
- Lesson prices, cancellation windows and refunds are set by the instructor or school and shown before you book.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current period.
- Chargebacks and failed payments may result in suspension of platform access.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the platform: no harassment, discrimination, false verification claims, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempts to take bookings off-platform to avoid safety and record keeping.
5. Learning Passport and content
Lesson notes and progress records belong to the learner. You keep ownership of content you submit and grant us a licence to host and display it to deliver the service. Reviews must be honest and based on real lessons.
6. Readiness scores
Test-readiness scores and progress indicators are guidance based on instructor input. They are not a prediction or guarantee of a driving test pass.
7. Liability
Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent instructors.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may end access with notice, or immediately for serious breach.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. See also our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
